Never Ever Regret Dreams

Never Ever Regret Dreams, N.E.R.D for short, is a new record label. Started by two friends, Dana and Patrick. Dana is also known by his stage name, Fifth-L. Back in 2003, when Dana Ragsdale was 16 years old, he began creating music by recording on a tape deck in his friend’s basement. Utilizing the alias Fifth Element, he started a band called Black Market. In 2005, Dana began recording at Real Music Records while also working with a band named Anomaly-in-3D. The band performed numerous live performances at several clubs in Berks county and in surrounding counties. In Spring of 2006, Dana attended Penn State to major in engineering, but continued to record in a small studio he set up in his dorm room. After his first semester, he relocated to Portland, Oregon and got a job with Intel as a mechanical engineer. But his love of music and commitment to his craft never wavered and he continued to record. It was during this time in Portland that he recorded his Sound Click chart topping song titled, “Got My Nikez On.” It peaked at #2 on their charts. While there, Dana also recorded his first mixtape, "Blinded by the Truth" and performed at the Roseland Theater, opening for well-known rapper, Young Dro.
During the Spring of 2007, he returned to Muhlenberg, Pennsylvania where he began recording with Black Market again at Real Music Records. Joining with a fellow Black Market artist, they began performing under the name, Hendrix. In 2008, Hendrix released their first album together titled, ”Why Do We Fall.” They also began performing at the Crocodile Rock CafĂ© in Allentown, PA. They opened for artists such as Tech Nine, and they also headlined their own show. In 2009, Dana released his first album, “I <3 Hip-Hop” under his current stage name of Fifth-L. This created positive buzz for the artist in his local area which led to him performing shows with nationwide acts. He has opened for Ja Rule, Sean Kingston, The New Boyz, Asher Roth, Elliott Yamin, Lil’ Kim, Peedi Crack, Maino, and even some rock bands. His highly anticipated second album, "MARS" is almost finished and due to be released on June 4th, 2011.
